What is on that jersey? Looks like someone stabbed a feather.
that’s the funniest thing i’ve read in days.
ROCK THE RED!
Klay,
It’s a combination of the primary and secondary Sabres logos. ( http://www.sportsfanhome.com/Wall_Art/nascar/Buffalo_Sabres_wallmarx.jpg ) Well, except for the sabre slaying the slug.
Go Bourque go! Good for him.
Just catching up via TiVo… nice finish by Bourque.
Both goals looked beautiful!!! Looks like we’re on our game tonight for the most part…
Wow.. the Caps are looking great tonight. 3-0 Caps.
Great to see Laich finally getting rewarded for all his hard work!
Beautiful pass by Kozlov on the Backstrom goal… they’re firing on all cylinders tonight!
Congrats Bourque! Hope that’s only the first of many!
Bourque scored the goal for his dad’s birthday. He forgot to wish him happy birthday on Sunday when he talked to him. I’ll go blot my eyes now.
10n wins already this month but they don’t seem satisfied with that! Keep going!! Sounds like Theodore is doing a great job!! (xm Radio)
Patrick: Theodore is indeed doing well. His rebound control is particularly fine tonight (knock wood).
Oh man… what, 30 seconds after I typed positive comments about Theodore, the Slugs scored. My bad.
Wait, screw that, I’m blaming it on Joe B and his comment about the Caps having the worst Road GAA in the East right before the goal. Woohoo, absolution from blame feels nice. 🙂
No, it was your fault. Don’t do it again!
Unbelievable transition game from our boys tonight.
Can’t fault Jose for the goal – and if he manages to give up just the 1, I think most of us would take that every night.
Miller time! 😉
Jose deserved better. He’s really comming on. Great to see.
Happy New Year to All, from Russell, MB, CA!!!!!!!
Same back to you Patrick! 🙂
Team Canada vs. Team USA tomorrow at 7:30 E on TSN
should be an awesome display!!
Mike,
The Horizon Center is nearing completion, will have our first game tomorrow!
Also on the NHL Network here in the States.
Might be late for this post, but the Sabre’s emblem actually commemorates the actions of Brigadier Seymour Knox in the slaying of the Great Horned Mullet of Fort Erie, back in the winter of aught-two, when the river froze and hordes of crazed mullets attacked the men-folk of Buffalo. To this day, Sabres fans honor this occassion with their distinctive throwback hairstyles.
