Funny stuff. They wanted Yeo out of there last year because the PP wasn’t effective then either (and that was with Crosby/Malkin in the lineup) — not sure who is to blame at this point.

    One word describes that: Awesome.

the special teams coach has definitely turned into the goat in the ‘burgh. ironically, yeo is already being considered as a head coach in minnesota, so he can’t be that bad.

they still don’t have anyone willing to stand in front of the net, like a billy guerin. heck, i’d put godard in front of the net and try to bank them in off his lid.

and i’m not afraid to admit that i’d rather of lost last night than faced a (at best) 5 game series with you jerks!

bums me out that 18 years ago today…

    … Hunter hit Turgeon ?

  6. Roadworrier says:

Ever since Ovechkin stalked out of the locker room on HBO muttering “f*ck this Sh*tsburgh team”, with the Caps and their fans proceeding to humiliate them in their showcase event on New Year’s, it’s been all downhill for the flightless waterfowl, even with their strong record at the end. They need to replace Matt Cooke and some of their other goons with actual, under-35 talent, otherwise Cindy and Geno will continue to have big targets on their backs (or heads).

  7. Steve says:

@ PETE great analysis, particularly the lid-banking Godard plan. 🙂
