On Tuesday night the Capitals played in their retro jerseys to commemorate the era of former Cap Dino Ciccarelli, 2010 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee. While the Caps jumped out strong in the first period, turning back the clock didn’t shield the team from discouraging results in place since early last December: after surrendering a 2-0 lead, the Caps again came up short in overtime, losing 3-2 in a shootout to Montreal. OFB’s John Keeley was joined by Sky Kerstein of 106.7 The Fan to discuss the game and the tough road ahead.

Here’s PK Subban’s self-effacing take on the devastating Ovie check. This from a very classy young player.
@PAUL: crap. i really want to dislike subban, but that was a damn refreshing interview…honesty and personality is a rarity.
