Vintage Look in D.C. (Don’t Look, Pens’ Fans)

It’s Turn Back the Clock Night for the Habs’ visit to Washington Tuesday night, with the Caps honoring Dino Cicarelli, and the Caps are wearing their Winter Classic-issue throwbacks for the game. According to the team, they won’t be wearing them again this season. But what if they go to 2-0 on the season in them?

I say we start a petition! These needs to be worn the rest of the season!!

No chance of them going 2-0 in these jerseys now.

Nice thought to wear them for honoring Dino Ciccarelli. But maybe they should have saved them for the rematch with the Pens on Sunday for NBC’s Game-of-the-Week. It brought them luck for the Winter Classic, so why not freak out the Pens by showing up in WC gear?

i don’t know if a camera can justify how nice those uni’s look, although maybe the outdoor lighting at heinz field had alot to do with that.

and don’t you fret, as the pens have had, well, let’s just call it a fair amount of success against the caps in those uniforms….
