OFB TV: Ugly Christmas Sweater Night at Giant Center

Our Elisabeth Meinecke made her first-ever visit to Hershey’s Giant Center last night to take in her first-ever Bears’ hockey game, and the two-time reigning Calder Cup champions welcomed her with an adventurous fashion spirit: they wore a Christmas-themed sweater for their game against Charlotte that even the Grinch would have left behind from his middle-of-the-night thievery. More importantly, the Bears salvaged their weekend with a 6-3 win. Afterward, Lis and John spoke with Bears’ center Nikita Kashirsky, and had some fun asking the Georgetown Prep grad about those ugly Christmas sweaters. They also got an important reflection from Alexander Ovechkin’s best friend about the toll that all the recent losing in Washington has taken on the Caps’ captain.
