It was a 5-0 Hershey whitewash over Wilkes-Barre Scranton at Giant Center early Sunday evening. Incredibly, Michal Neuvirth has stopped 123 of the 124 petite Pens’ shots he’s faced in his last four games at Giant Center.
Hershey’s 32 points on the season afford them a 7-pt. cushion for first place in the AHL’s East division over second-place Binghamton and a 10-pt. comfort zone over the mini-Mullets. Such an occasion calls for some aural reveling splendor with the voice of the Bears, John Walton:
Speaking of achievements, the Bears are a perfect 100% on the PK at home – *45 for 45! Don’t mean to boast, but this STH is quite proud of her boys! *Stats courtesy of JohnWaltonHockey.com 🙂
Nice job Laura, you know what’s going to happen next Saturday night now, don’t you?
Superstitious much, Matt? That’s like saying since the OFB team pointed out Neuvy has 123 saves on WB/S’s last 124 shots, he’s going to choke the next time we face them. C’Mon pal! 😉 I have more faith in my team than that. 45 for 45 is quite an achievement and deserves praise.
