06/12/2009 – (HERSHEY, PA) — Hershey Bears Hockey is 10 times the excitement. Now that the Bears have officially made history and won a record breaking 10 Calder Cups it’s time to celebrate! Join the team on Saturday, June 13 as Giant Center opens its doors again to the public–free of charge! Season ticket doors will open at 6:15 p.m. with main doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The celebration will run from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
The commemoration begins with a video production of the 2008-2009 season and the journey the Bears took to win the cup. Following the video, will be team introductions and speeches. The celebration will conclude with an autograph session with the 2008-2009 champions!
Parking and admission are free; food and beverages PLUS exclusive Calder Cup Champions merchandise will be available for purchase.
Yay! At least something went right on the ice tonight.
Thank God for the Hershey Bears! Otherwise, I’d feel that life was not good.
(I hope the farm system wins translate to wins for the big club in the near future.)

The South Carolina Stingrays who just won the ECHL Kelly Cup have just announced that they are selling the game worn blue jerseys on eBay.
These are the actual jerseys worn the night the Rays won the Cup! Many of the Stingrays players spent time in Hershey this season, including the Calder Cup MVP.
