anyone know when tickets go on sale?
Can you really believe this is happening?
After all this time. Fedorov scores the GWG for the Caps.
Let the magic continue. This . . . is our time.
UNFAIR SCHEDULING
Here’s the schedule for the remaining 4 playoff series:
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=420555
Does this seem fair? The Caps are playing every other day except for games 4 and 5 which are scheduled for consecutive days. Meanwhile, no other matchup has games scheduled for consecutive days. In the Bruins vs. Canes series, they even get two days off between games 2 and 3; in the Red Wings vs. Ducks series, they get 2 days off between games 4 and 5 and in the Canucks vs. Hawks series, they get 2 days off between games 2 and 3 AND 2 days off between games 6 and 7.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m ecstatic the Caps advanced to the 2nd round but the scheduling doesn’t seem fair.
No comcast games? All on versus…I am going to miss our announcing…My heart is still pounding out of my chest!! WAY TO GO CAPS!
Congrats guys.
Needless to say, this will be a great series. Granted, we, as fans, will more than likely reduce the whole thing to poor officiating, dives and cheap shots, but it’s going to be a great series for the sport. “Rockin’ red” and “white out” filled arenas will be on display, showing the average sports fan that there is nothing like playoff hockey.
I look forward to coming here to read good opinions from smart hockey fans, as I have for a couple years, and hope to give you some as well. Good luck…
(and i hope i don’t have to hear AO howling in a silent mellon arena too often…)
The Comcast SportsNet broadcast schedule has not yet been announced. However, you can probably assume CSN will broadcast every game they are allowed to. There are three dates that carry an exclusive broadcast for the national outlet. Those three are the first three:
Saturday, May 2 at Washington, 1:00 p.m. NBC Exclusive
Monday, May 4 at Washington, 7:00 p.m. VERSUS Exclusive
Wednesday, May 6 at Pittsburgh, 7:00 p.m. VERSUS Exclusive
I’ve also added this information to the post.
Yosefi, you’re not accounting for the long travel in both Western Conference series. I can’t explain Bruins & Canes though–same time zone–but it is a longer trip than Caps-Pens.
