  1. Random thoughts…
-The PP looked really good; the PK looked a whole lot better (Gonchar’s goal notwithstanding).
-The Gonchar goal put the Caps on their heels a bit. But after Morrisonn scored, the Penguins looked completely listless.
-While I have no idea what the refs were looking at most of the time, it looks like Alexander Semin’s rep as an embellisher is preventing the Caps from getting more PP chances.
-@ the Talbot goal: sure, Theodore was out of position to stop the shot, but where was the support from Green or Ovie? They were right there.
-Here’s the definitive difference between Crosby and Ovechkin:
When I see Crosby play, the three words that come to mind are “sense of entitlement.”
When I see Ovechkin play, the three words that come to mind are “genuinely spontaneous exuberance.”
If I was running the NHL’s marketing department, who would you think I’d showcase as the face of the league?

    Silly question:
I know CSN rebroadcasts games. Is there any sort of deal to rebroadcast those that were on NBC?

Check Hulu.com for replays, although they take a while to get posted.
