Bears Surge into First Place in the East

Hershey Bears LogoWith its victory over Springfield 4-2 at the Giant Center last night, the Hershey Bears tied Norfolk with 96 points and grabbed a share of first place in the AHL’s East division. Norfolk and Hershey are also tied for the most points in the American League. The win also clinched a playoff berth for the Bears.
Chris Bourque became the seventh Bear to score 20 goals on the season.
The Bears have a game in hand with Nolfolk as well.
Note that Philadelphia puck suckitude is enjoyed by both parent and farm club.
